RCB Bank Welcomes Wichita Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer Calvin Ochs

Wichita, KS. — RCB Bank is pleased to welcome Calvin Ochs as Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer at its Wichita Berkeley Square location. In his role, Ochs provides lending expertise to individuals, agricultural producers and business customers throughout the Wichita market.

Ochs began his banking career after graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with a degree in finance and now enters his seventh year in the lending industry. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in consumer, agricultural and commercial lending and has continued to expand his expertise through specialized banking education, including the Kansas Bankers Association’s Agricultural Lending School, Advanced Agricultural Lending School, Commercial Lending School and Advanced School of Banking.

Before joining RCB Bank in July 2026, Ochs also served in additional leadership capacities, including Bank Secrecy Act Officer and Bank Security Officer, further broadening his industry knowledge and experience.

His primary areas of expertise are agricultural lending and commercial rental properties, and he is known for building strong relationships with borrowers through trust, communication and a commitment to understanding their goals. Ochs believes successful lending is built on teamwork and adaptability, especially in an industry influenced by changing economic and environmental conditions.

Originally from Hoxie, Kansas, Ochs recently relocated to Wichita and is eager to establish roots in the community. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to community service, serving as treasurer for the Sheridan County Economic Development Board, a board member for the Sheridan County Wellness Center and a volunteer firefighter for the Sheridan County Fire Department in Hoxie. Outside of work, he enjoys farming, spending time with family, snowboarding and spending time at the lake.
