RCB Bank promotes Luke Williams to Edmond Community President.

Edmond, OK – Luke Williams is set to begin a new chapter in his career as he takes on the role of Edmond Community President at RCB Bank in 2025. Luke joined RCB Bank in July 2022, drawn by the positive environment and the opportunity to work with respected colleagues.

When he transitions to his new role, Luke will move back to Branch 16 in Edmond, where he aims to continue serving customers and the community while also mentoring and leading the Edmond team. His extensive experience in various banking roles has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, allowing him to approach challenges with a holistic perspective.

Luke’s journey in banking began in 2001, starting as a teller and progressively taking on roles of increasing responsibility. His career path led him through positions such as personal banker, retail loan officer and branch manager. In 2010, Luke discovered his passion for business development and community engagement while opening a new branch for a previous employer. This experience shaped his career trajectory, leading him to focus on small business lending in 2012 and eventually transitioning to commercial banking in 2018.

His dedication to the Edmond community extends beyond his professional life. He currently serves on the Edmond YMCA Council and volunteers regularly at his children’s schools and various local non-profits. His involvement in the community also includes delivering meals for Edmond Mobile Meals and coaching youth sports. As a graduate of Leadership Edmond, Class 38, Luke has been introduced to numerous opportunities for community involvement. This experience has further strengthened his commitment to making a positive impact in Edmond.

Throughout his career, Luke has been guided by principles of integrity, hard work and common-sense problem-solving. He is known for his commitment to customer care and his ability to follow through on his promises, qualities that have earned him the trust of his clients. Luke emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and staying informed about industry trends. He regularly attends Edmond Chamber events and economic presentations to keep abreast of local market conditions and macroeconomic trends.

Beyond his professional life, Luke loves to travel, which includes getaways with his wife and kids. They can be caught camping and hiking in the mountains and exploring new destinations. When home, Luke and Lacy can be found cheering on their four kids at all of their activities. This strong family foundation has been a source of support and inspiration throughout Luke’s career.

As he steps into his new role as Edmond Community President, Luke looks forward to the opportunity to mentor and develop other lenders and team members, contributing to the bank’s continued success and impact on the Edmond community. With his extensive experience, community involvement and commitment to growth, Luke is poised to make a significant contribution to both RCB Bank and the Edmond community in his new role.
